About me...

My name is Christos Daskalakos and currently I spend half my time teaching at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and half my time running VisVita Centre which provides body based therapeutic modalities for personal development.

University teaching....
The courses I teach at the university are:

SMALL OFFICE PRACTICE - teaching third year architectural students the basics of setting up and running a small architectural practice

ARCHITECTURAL PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE - teaching masters students the legal and professional frameworks for offering architectural professional services

SIMULATED OFFICE PRACTICE - running a program whereby masters students are given an opportunity to simulate the running of an architectural project

The body based therapeutic modalities I practice are:


AQUA MOVES - aquatic bodywork carried out in an indoor heated poof for deep relaxation, healing and expanded consciousness


BIODANZA OPEN CLASS
- using movement and dance to reconnect to self, others and the world around you by connecting to the joy of life


EN~TRANCE - conscious movement sessions using neo-shamanic approach, in the natural setting of the garden - individual exploration of purpose and place in this universe


JOHANNESBURG CENTRAL SCHOOL OF BIODANZA - in March 2020 together with Verity Maud we created a school to train Biodanza Facilitators. This school is under licence from the Internation Biodanza Federation.
